Dear Prospective Internship Partner:
Please review our program information. I am proud to represent Fulton County’s best students! As a teacher of Fulton County’s Talented and Gifted Students for 29 years, I can assure you that our students are some of the brightest, enthusiastic, most highly motivated, initiative taking young people that you could have as interns. We have been placing
students in career fields for more than thirty years. Our program is a well established and successful one due to businesses like you who have given our students an opportunity to prove themselves.
Students are placed in Internships twice a year, once in the Fall Semester (August) and again in the Winter Semester (January). They work on site or shadow their professionals for 70 hours during the semester (an average of 5 hours per week). They do not receive pay but obtain high school elective graduation credit for the experience. For more information about our program and how you, too, can become a part of this valuable learning experience
for students please do not hesitate to contact me.
Our schools are growing as is our business community. New businesses are needed to provide internship sites for these bright students. Would you like to be a part of a program that “brings businesses and bright young minds together”?
